Oh videography, where to begin...

videography to us is the gateway to your own independent world of cinema- with a bit of a twist. The high flying action and edits almost always have a meaning behind them, and a purpose to their movement.

I (Brett) always had a passion for the camcorder as my Mother always had the recorder on play back in my youth. I didn't realize I had a knack for it until 2019 when I started dating my now fiancé Megan. Megan urged me to try out my luck in the industry and since I was floating around the idea of being a director and writer for film I precariously took the leap of faith and it proved to be worth it.

Within the first month of work, we were already landing clients that we would have never of thought to be working with. This sparked the flame in our videography world that may never be tamed.

The biggest take away we have had from the world of videography in our home of Winnipeg is this - Marketing and advertising should never be looked at as marketing or advertising your business, but rather showcasing and highlighting your natural talents and reasons you do what you do, through cinematic audio-visual experiences.

The capability you have to reach the masses is astronomical, you just need the right video team to push your story.

Documentaries,

Over the past 5 years we have worked with our Calgary based producer Ari Taub, and his team of ambitious humans to create 24 episode series that are distributed over multiple platforms, We have also had the oppurtunity to work with a local Production company: Blackwatch Entertainment who produce top tier DOC series.

from Europe, to Africa and back to North America .

We have covered shows that highlight athletes in sports like Motocross, Nascar and cross-fit to question and answer based documentaries as well as multiple True crime series'.

We have been granted a pretty incredible opportunity with Ari and his team as they have now allowed us to participate in concurrent writing and compile show ideas to be processed with our active writers and producers on the team.

The sky is the limit In this independent documentary world and we are currently trying to land our shows under the lights of NETFLIX and Amazon Prime. Stay tuned, We have lots to come!

SHORT FILM

It has been 7 years since we started working in the film industry in our home of Winnipeg and since then we've met some knowledgable players in the art that is film.

The passion for video began with film and we also also believe it will end there as we look into writing more and more screenplays with hopes of adding the right production partners who will help distribute our art.

The owner of Eleventh vision, Brett, has 200+ days on film and TV sets accounting to literally thousands of hours spent on a set shadowing directors and watching actors dominate in their craft.

Brett recently got his first role as an officer for the Millwood police department in Eagle Visions Burden of Truth which aired season 4 on CBC in the early months of 2021.

Brett and Megan hope to continue to grow their relationship with producers, actors and directors in their home of Winnipeg and hope to one day soon be creating screenplays as well as directing behind the camera of these short and feature films. Needless to say, but we hope you stay tuned!!!

Through those years we’ve met and worked with alongside actors like Sean Penn, Kristen Stewart, Forrest Whitaker, Topher Grace, Chrissy Metz, Dennis Haysbert, Aaron Paul, and Sam Worthington, just to name a few, as the list goes on and on. We feel very blessed to be Manitobans and have the opportunities we he have with film in our province. The tax credit that Manitoba employs is one of world class and is focused on bringing talent to our cities and praries, ultimately cementing the fact that we are here to stay in the world of film.

The idea behind this short was to make it as fun and riveting as possible, while abiding to the lockdown guidelines. With only a short amount of time before things were back to normal Brett knew he needed a script and he needed it fast. So, 2 days later, the last night of 2020 was written.

The time frame was 30 days, it took 50, but it goes to show what can be created even when our process is deemed foreclosed due to a pandemic. We plan on continuing to write short films, and we know this isn’t even close to where we will be at our culmination point. Thanks so much and enjoy!
